"Apple has announced that it plans to open a new Apple Store in Singapore that appears to be floating on water," the channel said in a statement.

It is noted that the new store, placed in a futuristic giant ball that glows at night, will be located on the waterfront of Singapore. It will be named Apple Marina Bay Sands after the hotel complex of which it will become a part. It will be the third Apple Store in Singapore in just over three years.

“We will soon be opening the doors of our new store by the Bay. Apple Marina Bay Sands will be the heart of creativity, a place we have created for you to express your ideas and passions,” the company's website reads. At the same time, no other official information, for example, what size the building will be or exactly when it will open, is not reported.

Earlier in August, Apple's market capitalization surpassed $ 2 trillion for the first time in history. And at the end of July, Apple regained the title of the most valuable company, bypassing Saudi Aramco. Then, the capitalization of the American corporation reached $ 1.77 trillion amid the publication of positive reports. Since the beginning of the year, the company's shares have risen in price by almost 70%.

Founded in 1976, Apple manufactures personal computers, tablet computers, audio players, phones, smartwatches and software.
