Only 16,411 Model S and X vehicles were produced, a sevenfold increase year over year and a 15.4% quarter over quarter. In the meantime, 242,169 Model 3 and Y vehicles were assembled (up 18.7 percent year over year and down 16.8 percent quarter over quarter).

Deliveries were 254,695 cars for the three months under consideration, up 26.6 percent year over year but down 17.9 percent sequentially. Deliveries of the Model S and X climbed by 9.8% quarterly to 16,162 vehicles, an increase of 8.6 times over the previous year. Delivery of the Model 3 and Y increased by 19.6% over the previous year and decreased by 19.2% over the previous three months, totaling 238.533 vehicles.

The output figure for June was the greatest monthly value for the company, despite supply chain disruptions and plant closures.
