Saudi Aramco, the state-owned energy firm of Saudi Arabia, has declared that it is now a minority stakeholder in Humain, another state-owned organization founded in 2025 to promote artificial intelligence technologies in the Kingdom.

Aramco currently possesses a 49% ownership interest in the firm, whereas the Public Investment Fund (PIF), the sovereign wealth fund, keeps the other 51%.
According to the agreement, Aramco has moved its AI and computing resources to Humain. Furthermore, Aramco is allocating around 9.9 billion riyals ($2.6 billion) towards the company.
Aramco’s investment is anticipated to boost Humain’s business growth and aid the company in reaching its objective of becoming a regional frontrunner in the AI sector. Additionally, the energy giant aims to utilize Humain’s advancements for its operational needs.
Humain plans to establish data centers in Saudi Arabia with a total capacity of around 3 gigawatts (GW) by the year 2030. The firm is involved in creating cloud platforms, extensive language models (LLMs), and a range of other AI-based solutions.
