A report from the bank’s analysts indicates that the expected price of Brent crude in December 2026 is now $105 per barrel, increased from the earlier forecast of $90. The prediction for the average price in 2027 has risen to $88 per barrel, up from $80.

The analysts note that substantial downside risks to supply are expected to result in a heightened risk premium shortly. Markets are growingly expecting a rise in tensions in the Middle East after the U.S. midterm congressional elections, potentially leading to additional decreases in supply from the area.

The specialists indicate that Brent prices might average $130 per barrel next year if oil output in the Persian Gulf stays 3.5 million barrels per day under 2025 figures. On the other hand, a quick rebound in regional output might push oil prices down to $60–70 per barrel.
