On Friday, February 2, 2018, the White House informed that the administration under President Trump has shown its willingness to collaborate with Congress to determine is the “second memo” that was “written by Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee”, could be publicly released.

Following the release of a document by the panel of Republicans that alleged the FBI of being biased towards President Donald Trump and the Justice Department, the White House came up with a statement in a short while, stating: “Minority members of the Committee have reportedly drafted a separate memorandum. The Administration stands ready to work with Congress to accommodate oversight requests consistent with applicable standards, including the need to protect intelligence sources and methods.”
