The agreement was finalized on July 14 with Vitol Asia Pte Ltd., based in Singapore. The LNG will be sourced from the trader's worldwide portfolio.
The contract signing comes after the completion of a supply agreement in January 2024.

Sanjay Kumar, GAIL's Chief Marketing Officer, stated, “Expanding the long-term LNG supply portfolio will support increasing demand and improve service for the company's expanding customer base.”
Vitol's worldwide LNG portfolio consists of long-term contracts from North America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. In 2024, the firm supplied 19.4 million tons of LNG.
