Araghchi stated that only diplomatic efforts can lead to a positive outcome and mentioned that mediators have proposed resuming talks with the administration of former US President Donald Trump, as reported by the publication.
He added, "If they engage with the Iranian people using language of dignity and respect, they will receive a response in the same manner."
Previously, five rounds of talks between the US and Iran took place, but the process was halted due to US-backed Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear sites.
The Guardian reports that Araghchi, speaking at a security conference in Tehran, reaffirmed that Iran has an unwaivable right to enrich uranium within its own borders, a position it will never relinquish.
Additionally, the publication highlights that Iranian officials said the halted negotiations, which were disrupted by the Israeli attacks, had reached a resolution on the issue of uranium enrichment through a regional consortium that includes US involvement.
According to Iranian officials, the consortium proposal is not currently being considered, but it remains a possibility that could be revived if negotiations are renewed.
