The Ministry of Interior in Bahrain stated that explosions were audible at the US naval base. Missile attack warning sirens are blaring throughout the kingdom.
Previously, US Central Command (CENTCOM) declared that its forces commenced additional strikes against Iran overnight on Monday "to further diminish its capacity to assault civilian mariners and commercial ships freely navigating the Strait of Hormuz."
