The business started manufacturing a COVID-19 vaccine component at its facility in Dublin's Grange Castle Business Park last year.

"This investment is for both approved and in-development medications, and it has nothing to do with COVID. They will contribute to enhancing the facility's noteworthy capabilities "Mike McDermott, director of global supply at Pfizer, said.

The relocation, according to the business, would bring 400–500 new employment and a new production facility that will be finished in 2027.
