SambaNova Systems Collects ‘$250 Million’ In BlackRock-Led Funding Round

Funding round of SambaNova Systems revealed investor appetite besides broadening its customers’ base.



SambaNova Systems is an artificial intelligence computing firm. On Tuesday, 25 February 2020, it informed that it has managed to collect “$250 million” in its finding round which was led by BlackRock Inc. This attempt was made to spread the reach of its customer base which also signals the appetite of the investors for the market.
 
According to Reuters reports:
“Investors in the Series C funding round included the venture capital arms of both Intel Corp and Alphabet Inc, Walden International, WRVI Capital and Redline Capital”.
 
The company is based out of California’s Palo Alto. It began its journey three years’ ago in 2017. If reports are to be believed, the company is now creating “an advanced systems platform” which will be running AI as well as “data-intensive applications”.
