Last month, Jindal Steel submitted an initial proposal to purchase TKSE, the second-largest steel producer in Europe. The terms of the financial offer were not revealed. Thyssenkrupp later declared it would purchase 20% of TKSE from Czech billionaire Daniel Křetínský's EP Group and concentrate on talks with Jindal Steel.

"Discussions are currently in progress and very dynamic," Thyssenkrupp CEO Miguel López informed Reuters on Monday.

He mentioned that Thyssenkrupp is thoroughly assessing the Indian firm's offer to invest in a green steel manufacturing plant.

Earlier, Jindal Steel mentioned that its plan would allow it to sustain steel production in Germany, which includes finishing the construction of Thyssenkrupp's green steel facility in Duisburg. Additionally, the Indian firm committed to investments exceeding €2 billion.
