Ventilation systems supplier Madison Air to raise up to $2.2 billion in US IPO

Madison Air, a supplier of ventilation and filtration systems, has submitted a request for an initial public offering (IPO) to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), according to Bloomberg, which references documents.



Madison Air is providing 82.7 million shares to investors priced between $25 and $27 each. At the upper limit of the spectrum, the firm's market capitalization would be roughly $13.2 billion, based on Bloomberg's estimates. The organizers of the offering consist of Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Jefferies, and Wells Fargo. Madison Air stocks will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

At the upper limit of the spectrum, Madison Air would generate $2.23 billion. According to Bloomberg, it would mark the biggest IPO of an industrial firm in the US since 1999. In that year, logistics firm United Parcel Service secured $5.5 billion.

Madison Air is a subsidiary of the holding company Madison Industries, established through multiple acquisitions starting in 2017. The company provides solutions to enhance indoor air quality for both residential and commercial clients, such as data centers, advanced manufacturing, education, and healthcare.
