Volkswagen’s New Aim Is To Increase The Brand’s Profitability Margin To Six Percent After 2025

Increasing the brand profitability at VW, would cost the company to a commitment, while the union would also allow a job cut of thirty thousand.

The aim of Volkswagen is to increase its core brand’s profitability, as the same lags behind its “major rivals”, whereby the goal is to go above six percent after the year of 2025, reports the Brand Chief of VW, Herbert Diess, in a “news conference”.

On Friday, the company made an announcement of compromising with labour unions which would permit the company to reduce “30,000 jobs” by the year of 2025, while in return the company has to make a commitment for avoiding “forced redundancies”, as Diess spelled out his plans’ details. In his words:
“We want to make Volkswagen future-proof”.

However, the expectation are there that this year, the profitability of VW’s brand would be “just” two percent, reports Reuters.
