WHO reports 65% increase in COVID-19 deaths worldwide in four weeks

In the previous four weeks (Jan. 2-29), COVID-19 has been detected in 20 million people worldwide, and more than 114,000 of them have perished.

As a result, there have been 65% more deaths than during the same time previous month.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), this was accompanied by a 78% decrease in the number of infected people.

China now has the most instances (11.4 million in the last four weeks), followed by Japan (3.2 million), the US (1.5 million), and South Korea (1.5 million) (1 million).
