“The company (Airbnb) plans to file the IPO documents with the SEC later this month, thereby laying the groundwork for listing before the end of the year,” it said. At the same time, the newspaper clarifies that the timing may be changed due to the volatility of the market.

Airbnb first announced its plans to hold an IPO in September.

The newspaper also notes that, according to the source, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. were involved in the placement of shares.

Airbnb, an online accommodation booking portal, has been around since 2008. The company's website contains more than 7 million ads with housing offers in more than 100 thousand cities in 191 countries around the world.
