The business announced that its annualized revenue run rate (ARR) hit $47 billion, an increase from $30 billion this year and $10 billion the previous year. The network observed that Anthropic's revenue increase was fueled by high demand for its AI coding assistant, Claude Code.

CNBC reported that Anthropic's plan to seek a new funding round was revealed in late April. The most recent funding round was spearheaded by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, and Sequoia Capital. The company's worth has almost tripled since February, when it was assessed at $380 billion.

Anthropic has unveiled its newest model, Claude Opus 4.8, today and declared the launch of Claude Mythos Preview, a model with enhanced cybersecurity features accessible to a limited number of companies, as reported by the channel.
