According to a report from the Central Bank of Argentina, the government has decided to issue a new bill worth 2,000 pesos due to the country's high inflation rate.

Bills worth 1,000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, and 10 pesos are now in use in the nation.

The 500 and 1,000 peso bills are the most widely used in Argentina due to the high increase in consumer prices, which reached 94.8% at the end of 2022. Many analysts have long discussed the need to introduce new bills, such as the 5,000 peso bill.
