These sales garnered some $2.5 bn, including $1.33 bn for Drahi's auction house alone: another all-time record for Sotheby's, with 96% of lots sold to bidders from 48 different countries. It set a record for Jackson Pollock: Number 17 from 1951, which sold for $53 M. To read more click here
