The publication stated that “Plans in the works are said to be aimed at important Israeli personalities, such as Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, and Defence Minister Israel Katz.”

On Tuesday, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy released a statement after Israel initiated a new military operation in the Gaza Strip over the weekend, declaring that the Israeli government had opted for a ‘morally indefensible’ and ‘highly counterproductive’ approach that would not result in the return of hostages.

It charged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government with “estranging Israel from its allies and partners globally,” declared the halt of discussions on a free trade deal, and placed sanctions on three individuals and four companies “that engage in egregious human rights abuses.”

In March, the Israeli government halted food and medicine deliveries to Gaza, asserting that these shipments were reaching Hamas.
