Vehicles in Zaragoza are constructed with parts imported from China (including powertrains, electronics, and control units), while about half of the components—such as some mechanical assemblies and body parts—are obtained within Europe. The facility's production capability will span from 50,000 to 100,000 vehicles each year, with intentions to boost production in the future.
Wu pointed out that assembling contracts is less expensive and quicker than constructing a dedicated factory. Nonetheless, European manufacturing is not yet capable of satisfying the entire sales demand in Europe; the business predicts that its international sales will increase to around 400,000 vehicles next year. As a result, it will keep providing certain vehicles for different markets from China.
