A report on a fine sale dedicated to nectars of Burgundy, staged by the Richard Auction House (Mr. Bernard) in Villefranche-sur-Saône on December 18.

At this impressive auction (which totaled €1,784,360), an original case containing six bottles of Pomerol 2007 Château-le-Pin triumphed at €13,392. Next came three bottles of Corton-Charlemagne, harvested in 1995 by the Coche-Dury estate, at €13,020. Lastly, twelve bottles of vintage 2002 Chablis Montée-de-Tonnerre from the Domaine Raveneau went for €7,812.
