Illiad Bets On Netflix & Alexa to Revive ‘Declining Sales’

The much waited set-top box’s new version from Iliad is out which offers new key features.



The Chief Executive of Illiad of France, Thomas Reynaud informed on Tuesday, 04 December 2018, that the company is attempting to revive its sales that are on the decline, whereby in its “new set-top box” among the “key features” there will be “a Netflix subscription and Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa”.
 
The above mentioned set-top box is a “much-awaited” one for the telecom operator which is “dubbed Freebox Delta” and has been “designed by Jasper Morrison”. Among the new features are “an improved internet speed and data storage” along with Devialet’s audio technology, the latter being a “French start-up”.
 
Subscriber will be able to avail the service of Freebox Delta at “49.99 euros ($57) per month”, reported Reuters, which is nearly “10 euros more than the previous version” that dated “from 2010 and also bundles television, internet and fixed telephone services”.
 
Additionally, another cheaper version called “dubbed Freebox One” will be offered at “29.99 euros per month for the first year” which will come with “fewer services” in comparison to Freebox Delta.
