"Starting at dawn, large groups of people started to gather along Damavand Street, passing through Imam Hossein Square, Enghelab and Azadi Streets, Azadi Square, and Shahid Lashkari Road, to offer their final tributes," reported Press TV.

The channel stated, "the motorcade drew an enormous crowd, with millions in attendance."
Iranian TV images displayed numerous Iranians waving red flags, symbolizing a direct demand for vengeance for the fallen leader in Shiite customs.

The funeral march signifies the conclusion of days of memorial activities in Tehran, which started on Friday.

A public send-off ceremony for Khamenei occurred in Tehran on Saturday and Sunday. Thousands of individuals with portraits of Ali Khamenei and Iranian flags assembled beforehand at Mosalla, the biggest religious complex in the capital. The coffins with the remains of Ali Khamenei and four of his family members, who perished alongside him, were exhibited there. The assembled crowd shouted demands for revenge for their deaths.
