‘The Houthi assaults are directly associated with Iran. Israel will react to the Houthis' assault on our nation's primary airport and, at any time and place we choose, counter their Iranian terrorist overlords,’ Netanyahu stated on social platform X.

Earlier on Sunday, a ballistic missile detonated on the premises of Ben-Gurion Airport. Three individuals sustained injuries.

As per media reports, Israel's missile defense system identified the missile but was unsuccessful in intercepting it. Reporters highlighted that this marks the first occasion the Houthis, who periodically attack Israel, have succeeded in targeting the nation's primary airport.
