Dailymanagementreview.com – 29 October 2015 – The Company of Pfizer in short PEE and Allergan or AGN are in discussion. The duo is in the midst of “a potential transaction”. Allergan had issued an acknowledgement in this regard early on the 29th of October 2015.
The said announcement was noted by the company of Pfizer, whereby confirming the ongoing transaction talks between both the companies. Moreover, Pfizer informed that the dialogues are still in their preliminary stages, which is continuing in friendly line, although it has potentials of transaction.
Nevertheless, Pfizer has also mentioned that so far there has been no agreement between them. In fact, Pfizer clarifies that nothing is definite yet as to whether the discussions will end with a transaction or not.
As of now, both the possibilities are equally open, whereby one leads to no transaction while the other takes them to the terms on which a transaction can be formed and might “be agreed” upon.
Furthermore, Pfizer refrains from commenting on any “speculation” that has to deal with “the terms of a potential transaction”. In case, any development takes place, as per appropriate time, the details will be released and communicated to the public.
