According to the Saudi state-run SPA, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman declared the start of a national global supply chain effort.
The initiative's goal, according to the agency, is to reinforce the kingdom's position as the main hub and a crucial link in global supply chains.
In the first two years, the project is expected to draw investments totaling 40 billion Saudi rials ($10.6 billion).
