The state oil firm of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Aramco, intends to boost gas production by 50–60% by 2030. Amin Nasser, the company's CEO, made this statement on Wednesday, according to the Al Arabiya TV channel.

The Saudi Energy Minister stated that the country aims to build 4,000 kilometers of pipelines in order to raise gas production by 60%.

The average daily production of natural gas and ethane was 10.6 billion cubic feet (or 300 million cubic meters), as stated in Saudi Aramco's final report for the year 2022. The business exports some related gas and gas condensate in addition to serving as the kingdom's sole gas supplier. The biggest unconventional gas field in the nation is in Jafoor. Estimated reserves total 56.6 billion cubic meters.
