The U.K.’s Health Sector To Integrate Israeli ‘Digital Health’ Technology

The U.K.–Israeli collaboration of “digital health technology” stands at the “threshold of a healthcare revolution”.



Israel based British embassy revealed about its new programme launch that has been design to assist the “digital health technology” of Israel incorporated into the “National Health Service”, shortly known as NHS, of the United Kingdom.
 
The new programme is named as the “UK Israel Dangoor Health initiative” which has been created by the “UK Israel Tech Hub” that works from the British Embassy and attempts to infuse the Israeli tech into the industry of Britain under the “IBM’s Alpha Zone accelerator programme and DigitalHealth.London”, whereby matching the need of NHS with technology.
 
David Dangoor is a business from Britain who has sponsored the said initiative, said:
“With all this new computer power and greater understanding and the breakthrough in genetics, we are absolutely at the threshold of a healthcare revolution”.
 
However, the details regarding the finance are not out yet. The programme stretches over two years and takes place in the “IBM’s accelerator”, while IBM along with the “DigitalHealth.London” get to choose two or three “digital health companies” for participating in every semester. These companies will also be mentored and guided on “NHS operations and market penetration” besides receiving tech-support of the IBM.
