Unilever Makes Bold Move To Bid For Estee Lauder
Unilever, a giant of consumer goods, is the apparent topper in “US outfit” Estee Lauder’s “beauty contest” among other “rival bidders”.

The “Evening Standard” citing the “City sources”, has reported that the:
“Unilever was lining up a bid for Estee Lauder, motivated in part by a desire to bulk-up in order to dissuade Kraft Heinz from making another unwanted approach”.

Unilever, an “Anglo-Dutch” Company, will be facing some giants of beauty industry with potential competitors like Berkshire Hathaway, L'Oreal and 3G. Among other “possible suitors” were JAB, which currently owns the “Rimmel-to-Max Factor group Coty”. However, it is still to be seen if JAB is financially strong enough to withstand the bidding storm and emerge victorious.

While, the same report also added that the “Estee Lauder family” preserved the select from “any potential bidder” reserving “almost 90% of the company's voting rights” while owning forty percent of the company.
