Air France-KLM increases net profit fivefold in Q2

Air France-KLM raised its net profit in Q2 2025 by five times, while revenue grew by 6%.

From April to June, the firm's net profit reached €605 million compared to €121 million during the same period last year. Air France-KLM's operating profit rose by 43%, reaching €736 million.

The firm's quarterly income rose to €8.44 billion, up from €7.95 billion a year prior.

The collective forecast from analysts, provided by Air France-KLM, projected an operating profit of €671 million and revenues of €8.52 billion.

In the previous quarter, the airlines within the group transported 27.258 million passengers - an increase of 5.9% compared to the same period last year. The flight load factor stayed at 87.8%.

Air France-KLM reaffirmed its forecast for a 4.5% increase in capacity this year relative to last year. The firm continues to project capital expenditures between €3.2 billion and €3.4 billion for this year.

On July 31, it was reported that Air France-KLM had dropped its intention to purchase the Spanish airline Air Europa.

Starting from early 2025, the market value of Air France-KLM has increased by 42%.
