Airbus in talks to sell more than 100 aircraft in China

According to Bloomberg, European aerospace company Airbus SE is in negotiations to sell more than 100 wide-body A330neo aircraft to significant Chinese airlines.

They claim that delivery dates have not been determined and that the conditions of the agreements are still being debated.

Bloomberg's request for comment was not immediately answered by Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, or an Airbus representative.

Airbus is increasing its competitive advantage in the Chinese market as Boeing Co. is dealing with aircraft safety issues and strained relations between the PRC and the US. Airbus, on the other hand, is making significant investments in the PRC; specifically, it operates a plant there that assembles its A320 family narrow-body aircraft.
