TAEF intends to issue these bonds in multiple phases over a period of two years.

This initiative may represent one of the largest panda bond programs from the Middle East. According to experts, the fund's strategy reflects the Gulf states' interest in taking advantage of favorable market conditions to secure more affordable financing in China, while also aiming to strengthen their economic relationships with the country, especially as trade ties continue to grow.

Panda bonds are financial instruments denominated in Chinese yuan, issued by non-Chinese entities on the Chinese domestic market.
