Cartier, Lord of the Ring

Louis Cartier ’s (1875-1942) passion for non-Western art led to a style that spread like wildfire around the world. An exhibition now at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs ("Cartier et les arts de l’Islam. Aux sources de la modernité ", until February 20, 2022) tells this story, which was just one of the jeweler’s glittering facets during the Art Deco  period.  To read more click here.
