Dyson nearly quadrupled dividend payments to the founder's family for 2025

James Dyson’s British vacuum cleaner firm, Dyson Holdings, has almost increased its yearly dividend payouts to Weybourne Holdings—his family's holding company based in Singapore—by four times.

Payouts for 2025 reached £750 million ($995 million), an increase from £200 million in 2024, which was the lowest amount in at least seven years, as reported by data from Bloomberg.

Moreover, Dyson has pledged to distribute dividends totaling at least $70 million for 2026.

The company's earnings declined by 6.7% last year, totaling £6.1 billion. At the same time, operating profit increased by 15% to £603 million.

In recent times, Dyson has consistently transferred substantial amounts from his namesake firms to broaden his investment portfolio, featuring a notable £1.2 billion dividend distribution in 2022. In the last ten years, he has moved over £4.5 billion.

The billionaire's business empire now features an insurance firm to safeguard his personal and financial interests; he has also ventured into agriculture, becoming one of Britain's largest property owners. Weybourne additionally puts money into hedge funds, venture capital, and private equity.
