Finnish fast-food chain Hesburger will donate waste cooking fats to renewable diesel, announced the companyy.

"Renewable diesel producer Neste and Hesburger will actively cooperate in the circular economy.

Waste cooking fats from more than 300 Hesburger restaurants in Finland and the Baltic States will be recycled to produce renewable diesel," it said.

It is specified that the chain's restaurants in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania produce up to 420 tonnes of fat annually.
