French authorities expect the national economy to grow next year

According to Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire, France's economy will expand in 2023 despite a challenging economic climate.

He declared, "I assert that we will have positive development (in the economy) in 2023."

He asserted that the economy will expand by 1.4 percent in 2023 despite the Bank of France governor's assessment that the nation faces a "limited recession."

Le Maire continued by saying that despite the challenging economic climate, employment is increasing, corporate investments are still being managed competitively, and household consumption levels are holding steady. The government is examining all options, he said, but for the time being, the economy is holding up. He emphasized that the challenging economic position in other countries will affect the situation in France.
