Google and Kering subsidiary to develop AI glasses

Italy's Kering Eyewear, a subsidiary of the French luxury brand Kering, will collaborate with Alphabet Inc.'s Google from the U.S. to create AI glasses.

According to a statement from Kering Eyewear, the new eyewear will operate using the Android XR augmented reality OS and will include tailored AI-driven functionalities aimed at seamlessly incorporating them into an individual's everyday life.

The partnership’s financial terms were not revealed.

Previously, the American Warby Parker announced its collaboration with Google in creating smart glasses.
