Lockheed Martin awarded missile contract for Australia


Lockheed Martin has received a contract to make missiles for Australia, the Pentagon reported.

According to the US Department of Defense, Lockheed Martin has been given a $750.6 million Pentagon contract to construct air-to-ground missiles, including transfer to Australia.

The Pentagon announced that Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $750.6 contract for B-2 air-to-ground missiles with containers, spares, and test equipment.

The contract involves the sale of the weapons to Australia, and work is scheduled to be finished in August 2027, according to the statement.
