According to a report published by the United Nations on the 9th of March 2016, the special coordinator of the United Nations for the “Middle East Peace Process” has looked down upon the “multiple attacks” that took place in “Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Petah Tiqva and Jerusalem” on Tuesday, the 9th of March 2016. In the said attacked as many as fourteen people were injured besides other mortal casualties.
A statement given by Nickolay Mladenov reads like this:
“There is and can never be any justification for terror. It is deplorable that some choose to glorify such acts that undermine the future of both Palestinians and Israelis.”
Wishing a “speedy recovery” to the wounded victims besides mourning for those dead, Mladenov assures that “his thoughts are with the families and friends of all victims”, whereby he adds:
“Political, religious and community leaders on all sides must live up to their responsibility to stand firmly against violence and incitement. They must urgently take the necessary steps to rebuild hope and show that a political horizon for a negotiated two-State solution is still possible.”
