The earlier plan anticipated an increase in production of 244,000 bpd by May. Therefore, the overall production quota for OPEC+ nations in June will be just above 36.19 million bpd.

As the sources, the eight volunteer nations consented to boost production prior to the official discussions.

A month prior, the identical eight nations unexpectedly chose to hasten the implementation of limits from May - increasing from 135,000 to 411,000 bpd. The OPEC statement indicated that this choice was motivated by flexibility, enabling member nations to hasten the compensation of volumes that had been previously undercut.

Along with addressing the June production plan, the OPEC+ G8 meetings meticulously evaluate the extent of compliance with the agreement, along with the compensation for previously under-reduced volumes.
