Tesla to install charging stations for electric cars in Turkey

According to the NTV channel, Tesla has been given permission by Turkish officials to set up the first electric vehicle charging stations.

The Energy Market Regulator has granted Tesla's 119 subsidiaries a permit to set up electric vehicle charging points, according to the channel.

Tesla is interested in the Turkish market, according to Mustafa Varank, minister of industry and technology in Turkey. He recalled that the nation's partnership with Elon Musk's businesses also includes SpaceX rockets, as Turkey was one of the first countries to launch its satellites into orbit using their assistance.

Tesla already works with a number of Turkish vendors to produce electric vehicles.
