Since the European Union decided to restrict imports of Russian energy carriers, France has been in talks with the UAE about increasing oil deliveries.

The two presidents will also talk about UAE investment in France and cooperation on security concerns, according to Bloomberg.

An earlier video of Macron and Joe Biden discussing the G7 conference was published by the American daily New York Post. In the video, the French president claims that the UAE and Saudi Arabia are unlikely to boost their oil production.
