Lucid Air, the rival to Tesla electric car, was launched last autumn.
In order to diversify the vehicle fleet and spread eco-friendly transport, Saudi Arabia has signed an agreement with Lucid Company to purchase up to 100,000 electric vehicles over ten years.
The deal comes as part of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's proposed "green Saudi Arabia" and "green Middle East" environmental initiatives.
